Hot Toys: Dark Knight Rises Batman

I guess we have about two weeks until the big Batman fest that is the final installment of the Nolan Batman trilogy?  Well the merchandise has been hot and heavy with products ranging from awful to mediocre to amazing.  Hot Toys has announced so far a second version of the Joker from The Dark Knight, The Bat (that new bat-plane of his), Bane (who we have yet to see his face), and now what looks to be the de-facto Batman.

This version of Batman seems to have it all.  It looks as though they made the costume so it has a cloth base with rubber parts on top.  This is great news for the longevity of the figure since rubber wear may be a thing of the past.  As per most Hot Toys releases he has an arsenal of hands, faces, heads, weapons, a base, just about everything you would want.

As an aside, I’d just like to comment on how much love Hot Toys puts into snapping pictures of their figures.  When you are used to seeing a quick shot on a white background of a wrongly transformed Transformer, it’s nice to see how much detail they put into their photo shoots.  They capture every angle, do movie poses, show all the parts, show how you use them, they even show the new vehicles and how he fits in them.

Good job Hot Toys, he looks great!
