Mattel posted a schedule of their sponsored events to Mattycollector earlier, just wanted to catch everyone up. Of course the most important one will be Mattypalooza starting at noon on Friday July 13. It’s going to be epic, or so we are all hoping it will be. Time to show off that Ram-Man that is going to make us all buy seven subscriptions next year. Also we get to see the new Back ot the Future (I’m making this up from my own speculation) line!
Here is the official word from your favorite website:
If you’re one of the lucky ones attending SDCC this year, we’ve got more events than ever! To help you track all the awesomeness awaiting you, just print out this schedule and bring it with you.
Not going? You can still stay up on all the announcements by checking our Fan Forums for live updates during the show all weekend and in the News section on MattyCollector.com on Monday, July 16th. And if you want email reminders when new products become available, click here.

Once a year, fans can get the inside scoop on the action figure lines they love and answers straight from the people who make them. We have assembled a panel of industry leaders from every corner of the toy world, from companies large and small to discuss the state of the hobby and answer your burning questions. They’ll talk about the difference between being the licensor vs. the licensee, the “kickstarter” phenomenon of funding toys before they go into production, how to keep up with the editorial side of a property, tips on how to break into the toy industry, and much more! We might even give away a toy or two in the process. Moderator Daniel “Julius Marx” Pickett from ActionFigureInsider.com is joined by Jesse Falcon (Director of Merchandising for Disney/Marvel brands), Jim Fletcher (Design Director – Creative Services, DC Entertainment), Jason Lenzi (CEO, Bif Bang Pow), Jerry Macaluso (President, Pop Culture Shock Collectibles), Scott Neitlich (Marketing Manager, Mattel), Brian Stevenson (Co-Owner, Designer SpyMonkey Creations), Chuck Terceira (Director, Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles), Jeff Trojan (Vice President, Marketing Playmates Toys, Inc.) and David Vonner (Director of Product Design, Kasual Friday).
