We are a few days short of the Hobbit hitting movie theaters, so now is the perfect time to show off the upcoming quarter-scale Gollum and Smeagol action figures from NECA. This is a great cross-sell as it is based off their Lord of the Rings line that previously released Legolas, Aragorn, and Gandalf in all their 18″ glory. Gollum and Smeagol will fit right in with those figures or work just as well as a stand-alone Hobbit figure in case anyone is just getting into the series now.
Gollum and Smeagol share the same body, but each figure has a different head depicting the evil (Gollum) and innocent (Smeagol) side of his character. Each figure will run you about $40 each, but it seems a bunch of online shops will be offering a slight discount for getting the pair. These look to be the most detailed and articulated Lord of the Rings figures yet, and would probably make a great holidy gift for the super-fan in your life.
