Did you think the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classics line from Playmates was over? One of those one and done type deals after getting the turtles out of the way? Did you ever think there was a possibility they would expand to maybe Shredder, Krang, Rocksteady, or Bebop? Well if you wanted Shredder and Krang you are still out of luck. However, Rocksteady and Bebop profiles have shown up on Playmates’ TMNT Classics website with a “Coming Soon” caption on top of them.
No details have been given past the little tease on their site. However Toy Fair is less than a month away and I am willing to bet there is going to be a good amount of TMNT action figure news this year. Of course we will be on site and will provide you any info we can!
Looking to catch up on the TMNT Classics action figure line? Grab them off Amazon if your local TRU is out (which mine has been since November):
I thought the turtles in the Classic line were a little huge. I thought the NECA turtles were in perfect scale for 6″ – 7″ action figures. Even if Rocksteady and Bebop are the same size as the turtles, they might actually go really well with the NECA or the recent Nick cartoon series.

Oh great news! I have been hoping for these guys!
Yep, I am super pumped even though I never bought the original four. I’ll get these guys unless Playmates REALLY screws them up.
the 4 turtles are really incredible..I hope this lines goes and goes and goes. It could be a great replacement for MOTUC when that ends
