Well, since reveals are coming out everywhere I suppose it is time to start reporting on Toy Fair 2013 reveals even though the actual show is still a little over a week out! Mattel has let out some info on the toys based on the new Superman move “Man of Steel” coming out this summer. As usual there will be a kid’s line with funny colored variants as well as action features in a smaller scale. The Movie Masters line will also be back in full force for the six-inch scale collectors out there.
As of now we have three revealed Mattel Movie Masters for the Man of Steel in Superman (Henry Cavill), Zod (Michael Shannon), and Jor-El (Russell Crowe):

The Movie Masters line should be hitting shelves around June and have a MSRP of $14.99 each. I’m sure there will be more and we will update as more details become available as far as figures and if there will be a collect and connect for this series.
Funko also has a couple of Man of Steel items coming up including Superman and Zod!
Oddly the Funko Zod has a goatee while the Mattel Movie Master version does not … which is correct? Who knows?
