SDCC 2014: NECA Pacific Rim Ending Credits Three-Pack

NECA has revealed their second offerring for San Diego Comic Convention 2014, and no surprise it is from one of their hottest lines: Pacific Rim!

Now I can honestly say nobody predicted what the actual release would be.  All we had to go on was the hint that it was a three-pack.  What could that be?  Obviously nothing newly sculpted because NECA doesn’t do new sculpts for exclusives.  So it has to be a repaint.  Knifehead with no battle damage?  Battle damaged Jaegers?

Well it ended up being an all-black End Titles” Jaeger Action Figure 3-Pack.  It includes Gipsy Danger, Striker Eureka, and Crimson Typhoon all decked out in black.  They have glow in the dark bits on their ship visors.  This is supposed to recreate the final part of the main credits sequence … right before the part where Ron Perlman cuts himself out of the baby Kaiju.  You can see the movie scene here:

NECA was able to do a pretty accurate recreation from the movie scene, and this box set can be YOURS for the low price of $60.  The set is limited to 5,000 pieces and will be sold both at SDCC and online (details will be disclosed later on how to obtain the figures for those not attending SDCC).  Check out the gallery below for additional pictures of the set, provided by NECA.  And don’t forget that we have the constantly updated SDCC 2014 exclusive list!
