DC launches new Masters of the Universe comic!

MTV Geek broke the news today that DC will be launching a new He-Man and the Masters of the Universe comic in July of this year.  The run will be a six issue arc written by James Robinson (who has written countless titles including Starman, Grendel: The Devil’s Whisper, along with countless DC and Marvel titles), pencils by Phillip Tan (Spawn, Uncany X-Men, Iron Man), and inks by Ruy Jose (Witchblad, 52).  The twist that makes this series interesting is it starts out with Skeletor as the ruler of Eternai somehow and everyone, including He-Man, is under his control.  Check out MTV Geek for an interview with writer James Robinson about why he decided to do the book and what we have in store.

So be on the look out for the new Masters of the Universe comic in July!
