Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are so hot right now! Well, actually, they always seem to be hot. It’s interesting how TMNT seems to click with every generation.
Anyways, at New York Comic Con this weekend I discovered a little surprise at the Yes Anime booth: a set of vinyl “Super Armor Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” Super armor is basically super exaggerated Samurai armor, and it seems completely fitting for a sit of TMNT figures. From what I have been told the series will consist of the four main turtles and each figure will come with a part to build Shredder … who looks fairly standard compared to the turtles. I was also told that these figures will cost somewhere between $18 – $20 which isn’t too bad for licensed vinyl.
Go on and check out the pictures below from Yes Anime’s booth at NYCC. The display had the turtles with their accessories and backed with the concept art. It was a nice little display and I look forward to their release.

Amazing. I want them all but will probably just get Raphael. Donnie looks particularly cool though.
I really dig Mikey myself. They looked super cool though.
