E3 Bethesda Funko Mystery Minis Set

Bethesda Releases E3 Exclusive Funko Mystery Mini Set!

If you weren’t watching E3 footage last night then you probably missed Bethesda’s panel.  Who is Bethesda you ask?  Bethesda is the publisher for some pretty big video game series including Doom, Dishonored, Fallout, and the Elder Scrolls games.  Last night they revealed some amazing footage of Doom 4 (I believe they are just calling it Doom), Dishonored 2, and Fallout 4, but there was a big surprise at the end!

Up on the big screen they showed three Funko-styled figures from their biggest franchises, and then let the audience know everybody there gets a free one!  I immediately went to twitter and noticed how much of a disconnect there is between gamers and toy collectors when they were being refereed to as Amiibos.  They are not Amiibos, they are “Mystery Minis,” a series developed by Funko.  It’s fair to say that this set isn’t much of a mystery since you see all three figures in the window box, but it looks like Funko will have some Bethesda themed minis in the future!  If you haven’t seen Funko’s other Myster Mini work, check out out review of their Blizzard Heroes of the Storm set.  They are pretty cool.

So, I grabbed a few pictures of the set which was immediately on eBay shortly after the E3 panel concluded.  It’s currently trending at $200, but I would say if you really want it wait a bit longer until the expo is over.  The market will start to flood and the prices will become much more reasonable.  At least that’s what I’m telling myself because I want one REALLY BAD!
