Super7 did promise us a Masters of the Universe Classics reveal for January, and it looks like they came through right in the nick of time! So here you have it, the continuation of MOTUC. This will be considered Super7’s first “wave” of sorts for the Classics line. The plan looks to be that the subscription model that most veterans of the line should be used to is no more. Instead each wave will offer preorders and then go into production, similar to how the ‘Ultimate‘ figures were handled.
There should also be a Filmation themed wave that will be revealed at Toy Fair if all goes as planned.
So let’s check out the four new MOTUC figures, shall we?
Fangor – The Evil Weapons Master of the Snake Men comes equipped with sword and snake-tools to aid in his construction of the fiendish serpent weaponry for his comrades. Fangor also comes with flying serpent accessory and alternate head.
Quakke – The Evil Mutant from the New Adventures of He-Man comes with his Grabatron Meteormace and two part Meteor.
Hawke – The Heroic Winged Warrior of Avion comes with sword, smoke gun and alternate head.
Lodar – The Evil Master of Slave City comes with his mace and giant chains.
I must say that these reveals were better than I expected! Let’s hope Super7 can pull through and make the Four Horsemen sculpts into some beautiful production figures.
