Toy Fair 2013: NECA Quarter Scale Man of Steel & Adam West Batman

Welp, looks like we have a preview of some of NECA’s new licenses that will be announced at Toy Fair 2013.  NECA will be joining the fray of Superman: Man of Steel merchandising with their own quarter-scale (18″) fully articulated Superman.  This was revealed in a press release from Warner Brothers on their merchandising tie-ins going in to Toy Fair 2013:

[box style=”note”]Enthusiasts also won’t want to miss statues from Sideshow Collectibles; authentic prop replicas from Noble Collection; an 18-inch articulated figure from NECA; fun, stylized plush and vinyl figures from Funko; and high-end creations from Kotobukiya and SquareEnix, to name a few.[/box]

NECA is now doing 18″ figures from Marvel, DC, Lord of the Rings, Predator, and various horror franchises.  Those are some impressive licenses being done in such a large scale.

In more surprising news NECA will be doing quarter-scale figures from the Adam West Batman series!  I would assume they will be tackling Batman first, but the article leaves it a bit ambiguous:

[box style=”note”]Additional licensees supporting the Batman Classic TV Series include Funko with stylized figures and plush; Mezco with colorfully detailed vinyl figures; NECA with an 18-inch action figure; Round 2 with model kits; Cryptozoic Entertainment with trading cards; and a variety of high-end collectibles from Noble Collection, Sideshow Collectibles, TriForce, Kotobukiya, Medicom and Hot Toys.[/box]

Again there is a lot of info on all the Warner Bros. licenses that will be shown at Toy Fair 2013.  So feel free to check out the article and I will continue to disect and bring any information as available.
