Hot Toys, the company that has no regard for your wallet strikes again. This time they have not one, not two, but three whole SDCC and various foreign toy fair exclusives. We’ve shown the Captain America one before as it was announced as a Sideshow exclusive. Hot Toys thought that just one very expensive collectible is not enough so they upped the ante and added Detective Gordon in his SWAT get-up from the Dark Knight. They have also added Angelica from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. We will keep an eye out on Sideshow and let you know when SDCC Gordon and Angelica will be available for purchase.
I believe for Dark Knight fans this is the first Gordon we have gotten too, so I imagine a “detective” version will be coming soon. Gary Oldman fans rejoice as maybe this will one day lead to a 1/6th scale The Professional figure. Read on for the official announcement from Hot Toys about these great SDCC items.
