Pacific Rim is still alive! With the uncertainty of the new movie being made it’s still amazing that new figures are being announced. Not only new ones, but giant new ones. NECA had four figures displayed in their Pacific Rim case: Ultra Deluxe Mutavore, Ultra Deluxe Hardship, Ultimate Striker Eureka, and Ultimate Gipsy Danger.
Ultimate Striker is currently hitting stores now. The rest are slated for a Q2 2016 release. It was mentioned that NECA have a few other figures planned if sales of the next three figures go well.
This is the first time we’ve seen Ultimate Gipsy Danger. Basically it will be the Gipsy 2.0 body with most of the attachments included in the previous variant releases, as well as a light up LED chest.
