DC’s Multiverse line feels like it has been on life support for years. But I have to give Mattel credit, that line just keeps chugging along and refuses to die. Mattel didn’t actually have a dedicated booth for any action figure reveals, however they did leave a wave of figures in a glass case near the DC/Justice League movie area.
The wave up on display is the upcoming Rebirth Lex Luthor collect and connect series. If what was on display at the show is the true wave then it has gone through some extensive revisions. It appears to now include:
The Ray
The Ray (Clear Variant)
Vixen
Rebirth Wonder Woman
Gotham By Gaslight Batman
This leaves the previously revealed Baz Green Lantern and Bizarro without a home. It’s possible these two were just forgotten, but then again Mattel has been leaning on five-figure lineups for their collect and connect figures. So maybe these two may get moved to an exclusive spot in the future. Either way, I need that Bizarro!
