Quick Look #4: Super7 Masters of the Universe Classics William Stout Collection

This is going to be a true quick look since I just want to put up a few pictures tonight, but yes the Super7 William Stout Collection (aka Masters of the Universe Movie) wave has arrived! Are they good? Did they live up to the impossible hype of the prototypes that we saw at Toy Fair last year? I’m going to just say that if this is how all Super7 Ultimates translate from prototype to finished product then we are in for a treat with TMNT, Thundercats, and any other properties that get the Ultimate treatment.

This Frank Langella Skeletor is ace. Both of them, actually. I suppose I could go back and look at the Toy Fair photos, but at first glance, it appears that all of the detail from the original prototypes is still here. Take a gander at this golden boi:

Finally, we have good old Dolph Lundgren He-Man. Again, the great head sculpt, nice soft goods cape, tons of accessories, so what’s not to love here? His second head isn’t as good, I haven’t taken a picture of it yet but it feels a little “pinched” in the cheeks. I love him. He’s good.

I didn’t take any pictures of Karg because screw Karg. The only Kargs in this house are the cargs I’m wearing. Maybe I’ll get him in a followup but he’s the same one we got in a prior wave but with correct movie colors. Anyways enjoy Dolph with that boi Peely, I’m hitting the sack.
